Fun Ideas for Valentine’s Day with Kids
Valentine’s Day with kids can be so much fun! Take the time to share some love with each other and craft some of these fun Valentine’s Day activities.
Crafting with littles is slowly becoming one of my favorite things. I don’t love the mess, but I love the creativity it gives kids!
I’m not incredibly creative, so I have gathered some of my favorite Valentine’s Day craft ideas, and of course, because I love food, I am going to show you my favorite Valentine’s Day treats you can make with your kiddos.

Valentine’s Day Snacks
Valentine’s Double Chocolate Bark

The thing I love the most about this chocolate bark is that you can use whatever you have around the house, or add special Valentine’s Day sprinkles. Kids will love being able to use their creativity to create yummy chocolate bark.
Strawberry Friends

I saw this little guy and instantly knew I needed to make him! Kids will love creating these yummy strawberry friends. Seriously, every time I look at him, I giggle. Kids can be creative with how many pretzels and marshmallows they add. Endless possibilities.
Heart-Shaped Hand Pies

Baking is a popular activity in our house. And we have made sourdough poptarts and they turn out really yummy. But I couldn’t pass up sharing these adorable heart-shaped hand pies. These sweet little things are pretty simple to make, especially if your kids are a little bit older.

We do a similar version of these cherry blossom cookies at Christmas, and my kids love to put the kisses in at the end. I love this modified version from the peanut butter version, because they’re perfect for Valentine’s Day with kids.

This Valentine’s Day activity is great for toddlers and preschoolers. I love the adorable little caterpillar faces! It is a great activity to practice counting. Food for thought- you could change the colors of paint and do this activity for any holiday.

How cute is this activity for Valentine’s Day with kids! This is great for elementary-age kiddos who can write, but you can also write things down for the littlest family members who can’t spell yet. This is the type of thing I would do each year and then hold onto all of them.
